Switching birth control?

I've been experiencing especially annoying side effects such as a lot of irregular bleeding, and discharge next to the birth control I'm currently taking (Alesse 28) and my doctor has a short time ago prescribed me a different one to try (Triquilar 28). I'd like to switch ASAP but I'd resembling to do it without have to have my extent in transition. My boyfriend is staying beside me for only another week and I won't see him for a while, so I'd close to to have a well-mannered week with him if you know what I tight :) Can I just start taking the topical birth control the day after I stopped taking the matured one? If anyone has any suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can. I've talk to my doctor and, in reality, this is OK and there are no side effects.
