I had a copper IUD fitted yesterday, im 18 and havnt have any children. will the threads hurt my bf?
i know it isnt recommended to people resembling me but i wasnt happy on the pill and needed something drug/hormone free.
it was immensely painfull having it done, i faint and my bp went down to 67/46 and own spent all of yesterday resting, i discern better today, it just feel like interval cramps!
i was a short time ago wondering if the intense cramps i had when i first get it done will return with my subsequent period? so i can be sure to give somebody a lift strong painkillers lol to avoid fainting.
also have anyone gained consignment? or has anyones partner feel to threads during intercourse? i am worried about hurting my long possession boyfriend

The cramping is usually the result of the actual procedure of inserting the IUD. "Spotting " may also be seen next to this procedure.Similiar to cramping following a pap smear. When manually manipulating the cervix it can lead to discomfort. This should subside with 24 to 48 hours. Ibuprofin should assist take the slither off. However if the cramping continues former 48 hours contact your Physician for a follow up to rule out the need to reinsert the IUD.
As for cramping beside your next interval you should be fine! Just follow the normal course. Your extent could be a little heavier subsequent time so be prepared.
As for your long term boyfriend attitude the string? The string although braided can be clipped fairly flowing if either of you consistency discomfort. If the string is felt by any finger or penis you can discuss with your robustness care provider the possiblity of have this trimmed. Hope this helps.

You can own the string clipped. All I have ever used is the copper 7 because my body cant fiddle with drugs of any sort. In time it will stop pinching and you will forget its there. Its lately as painful to remove as it is to insert though. I have to have antibiotics the finishing time time but I think it be the shape of it that tears. It would be better if it was lately straight.What else besides "baby on the way" can create sore nipples?
Hi. I was elder when I had it fitted, but I also haven't have children and haven't been pregnant.The insertion did hurt, and I also have cramps for about a week. I also have stronger cramps for several months, but I took painkilles and it was ok. After 4-5 months, the cramps go away. You will have stronger period, so be prepared if you're used to light period.
My husband was not competent to feel it, and I didn't gain any bulk (since it's hormone-free, it doesn't affect your metabolism).
The first couple days were hellish for me, but after that it be a smooth ride, and I love my IUD now (have have it for 3 years)
