No use KY Jelly instead. Vaseline does not disolve in water, but KY jelly does. Vaseline will coat the tampon and gross it not be as absorbant. Vaseline is not healthy for your vagina. If you need lubrication, I suggest using KY jelly or the approaching. Vaseline can be a bit abrasive to your insides.
Also, use in recent times a little bit. You don't want to gunk up the tampon and keep hold of it from absorbing what it's supposed to.

i don't think it's a moral idea, vaseline sticks to the wall of your vagina and may rationale infections. use a water base lubricant like ky jelly on the applicator, but if you are using non-applicator tampons, i reason it would just affect the absorbency of the tampon.
