Trouble wearing contact lenses from birth control?

I've been wearing contacts for nine years, and never have any trouble with them until I started taking birth control give or take a few eight months ago. The first three months or so of the birth control were fine, and after my contacts started to feel really unusual. It feels close to there's something down in the corner of my eye adjectives the time, but there's not (other than the contacts I mean). This go on for about a month, and consequently I talked to my doctor and switched to a different brand of birth control. Now I've be using that brand for about three months and the odd feeling close to there's something in the corner of my eye have started again. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Do you think it's because of the birth control or could it be related to something else? If it is related to the birth control, why would it not start until after I've be taking it for three months? Please help!

Yes, I've have a similar problem. It hurt my eyes so much I could not wear my contact lenses.

It is thought that birth control can increase the dryness of the eye, and that why it makes your eyes smaller amount compatible with contacts. Ask your doctor to put you on the best contacts available for dry eyes. Also, budge ahead and mention the BC incompatibility. If you go to a majority doctor, he/she won't eve know what you are talking something like.

The reason why it take 3 months for the problem to show is because BC doesn't have a total effect on your body until the 3 month point. Yes, BC is significant against pregnancy after 1 week, however, when you try a new BC, doctors other say to try it for 3 months because at the 3 month point you can largely see the effects the BC will have on your body as a together

Question on contraception?

I have alike problem as you exactly. One of my friends did too until she went on the nuvaring so I'm going to try it subsequent month. I hope it works. I hate my goggles.
