i am very athletic, and i dont know when i will win my period....will it be unsettled or what?? and can anybody email me how tampons work? do they hurt?! im so confused!

Large, unathletic girls usually go and get it earlier and heavier, but everyone is different. you could take it soon and light, soon and calorific, later and pallid, or later and brawny. mine came slow and oh boy is it heavy.

you stick the little plastic applicator up your vagina and deploy the tampon the mode it says to on the box. usually you don't even discern it. the only time it have ever hurt me is if i put in crooked, if my vagina is a short time dry and sticky when i go to put it contained by, or if i take it out too soon and it hasn't immersed anything yet and fibers take stuck and pull. or if you stick it contained by too far. it is possible to break your hymen with a tampon, but that doesn't tight-fisted you've lost your virginity. it's also pretty unlikely, if you only stick it contained by til your fingers touch your labia like the box tell you to. just don't verbs too much about it. i use Playtex Gentle Glide. smooth plastic applicator and it open all the approach around once it starts absorbing stuff. most other tampons only approachable in one direction and check out of a lot of space for stuff to escape out. i usually have to support mine up with a wipe because i have a really calorific flow. i'd suggest doing that until you figure out your flow and if you stipulation to or not.
