Does this sound right to you or is it newly me?

Going in for a c-section in a couple of weeks and doc is going to do a scar revision ...whip out old mark ...and sew me back up after assignment ...paid for the mark revision but hospital wants to charge extra for the 15 to 20 min use of operating room ...and conceivably more ..like anesthesia ..but delievery and anesthesia cost is already covered ...does this nouns like double paying to you?...a procedure that will solitary take no more than 20 min? btw waiting on name from hospital ... hospital is trying to come up with a numeral because of the short time?? sounds crazy to me

GIRLS ONLY why does this happen, can somebody detail me why?

That sounds about par for the course. Hospital billing itemizes every. single. item., and thus the anaesthesia for the delivery is not one and the same as the anaesthesia for the scar revision. Sure it's indistinguishable medicine deliver by the same doctor, but you d*mn in good health are going to pay for every second you've get that epidural in.

Get your insurance involved in negotiate the price... they are very motivated to set free money, and if the hospital is double billing you, they will glom on and not let budge.

Period. [girls]?

It is not fair to the merciful but they do this stuff all the time.

Brown/black spotting?

No, they will charge extra for another procedure. If you be having your tubes tied after nativity (which takes no time at all) they will charge you for the OR time and the anesthesia, too. It's not double paying. And it's cheaper than have it done AFTER the delivery if you enjoy to go put a bet on into the hospital to have it done.

I am married,but still a virgin.?

I abhor that the hospital does that, but they really have too. Each surgery have an estimated time, and even if the surgery goes over that because of complications you are charged more. Because of several things, you are adjectives into thier daily allotment of time (for the OR, the nurses, the tech, everyone involved) The anesthesiologist usually charges a flat tax per 15 minutes so if you go over the orignal estimate time you are charged extra, so it one and only make sense that if it is a planned assimilation you would be expected to pay more.. the wierd chunk is that they do not have a number already...except for as you would expect the procedure you discribed doesn't sound too routine..next again i don't work with that type of doctor. The plus to this is that sometimes the doctors choose not to charge you extra for thier slice. And that helps!
