Continuous use of minulet (birth control pill)?

My girlfriend takes minulet continually. She does not enjoy breaks between cycles as to allow for her periods. There are 21 pills (I think) in a pack and when the pack is finished she moves directly onto the latest pack. She does this for about 6 months and later stops for a few days for her period in the past continuing again.

What is this doing to her body?
How harmfull is it?
Are there long occupancy side effects?
Could this make her sterile?

What are some symptoms of Endometriosis?

My doctor and my nurse put in the picture me everytime never to skip periods when on the pill, however the instructions state you can miss one every immediately and then minus side effects and some pills stop periods altogether. Personally, I do not close to skipping them because I am too worried about the effect not have a period is on my body. Talk to your girlfriend and perchance ask to go to her doctor beside her to talk almost it. If you are worried and you want children then individually I think you own a right to know if these might make her sterile.

there are 2 types of pills
1st is taken for 21 days afterwards stopped to allow periods to lug place
2nd continous every day minus stopping =NO PERIODS
