Men & Contraception?

I recently have an implanon implanted in my arm. Until next i was on the pill but near a family history of philosophical vein thrombosis me and my doctor fixed that this was the safest way out.

However my boyfriend doesn't trust it.
(we have a monogomous trusting std free relationship and both of us aren't huge fan of condoms)

Is there any opening that i can convince him that this does work and i won't get pregnant?
Does anyone else out nearby have a similar experience?

how long do you own to stop working for if you have pid?

My fiance feel the same approach when I started on Nuvaring. Both of us hate condoms (i enjoy a faint allergy to them also). To go and get him over it we kind of ease our way surrounded by. we would have sex, minus a condom, but he would also use the pullout method. He eventually enjoyed sex short a condom so much, and saw that I wasn't getting pregnant, so he stopped with the pull-out method. JUst sort sure your guy is involved in some way beside the method (give him the pamphlets, consent to him come to doctor's appointments with you, hold him talk to a pharmacist roughly speaking anything he'd like to know- they know LOTS). eventually when he see you're not getting pregnant he'll trust it. Tell him house is a TV show not reality, and permit him know that the implant is AS effectual as the pill. good luck!

Is it out of danger or beneficial to cut whole grain from my diet? (please read additional details below)?

its as perfect as the birth control pill, he needs to read up on the stuff.

What is the most inherent thing to lug to regulate hormones during the first stages of menopause?

This is from the National Institute of Health in the United States:

PROGESTIN IMPLANTS

Implants are small rods implanted surgically beneath the skin, usually on the upper arm. The rods release a continuous dose of progestin to prevent ovulation.

Implants work for 5 years. The initial cost is generally superior than some other methods, but the overall cost may be less over the 5-year time.

The Norplant implant have been removed from the U.S. open market. A similar implanted rod system, Implanon, is available in Europe, but not available contained by the U.S.

Less than 1 pregnancy occurs over 1 year out of 100 women using this type of contraception. No method is 100% potent -- except abstinence (not have sex).

i really think you should both run to the doctors. so that way he is 100% calmed that it works. men dont rely on pieces of paper next to information on them tell them that it wont capture his girlfriend pregnant. take him to your doctor so after he has someone describing him ( who knows adjectives about the risk factors) that it is undamaging and the best decision for you.

Wife purely got a wipe and she is pregnant?

Just FYI.

Pregnancy must be excluded before inserting IMPLANONTM. IMPLANONTM should not be used in women who hold the following conditions: known or suspected pregnancy, current or long-gone history of thrombosis or thromboembolic disorders, hepatic tumors (benign or malignant) or active liver disease, undiagnosed atypical genital bleeding, known or suspected carcinoma of the breast (or a personal history of breast cancer), or hypersensitivity to any of the components of IMPLANONTM.

It looks resembling there is still a risk for thrombosis. I found it on the Implanon website. (I be interested in it myself) Just show your BF the statistics for pregnancy with the shoot. It seems to be successful from what they say. What stopped me from getting it be reading this page. Some of the women on there have the implant and get pregnant.

Women's question lone please??

if you now your own cycle later avoid having intercourse during the ovulation time.

Should a woman have brown discharge everyday?

no contraceptive is 100% significant but implanon is pretty much as good as they seize, once it's in and you've have your 3 month appointment to make sure it's within right then you should be ok. Maybe procure your other half to make conversation to a doctor or pharmacist if he's feeling doubtful, I had mine at the first appointment and he be there and saw it travel in so he feel like it's a squad thing and not in recent times one of those womens issues. If he's really uncertain consequently maybe a cordon method would reassure him, there are option other than condoms and we find spermicide picture isn't all that conspicuous during sex but it's enough to reassure the husband.
