Yaz Birth Control Question?
I started taking Yaz one month ago...I'm currently on my period and into my second pack of pink pills. I'm on the second pill. My foremost question is when does Yaz in truth start as a protectant against getting pregnant. The instruction manual isnt fairly clear about that. I'm thinking it should already be in effect right? How long must you be taking Yaz for it to protect you against getting pregnant?

I am a nurse and I would tell any of my patients that any birth control medication take atleast one month to take effect on your body. Therefore I would recommend using a hindmost up method, such as a condom to be 100% sure that you do not become pregnant.

you must use additional protection while contained by the 1st month of a new bc pill..it is merely after you have the 1st length that you are safe. this is a proven certainty. My menses lasted for more than 7 days?
It is my penetration that you should already be protected. The reason I read out about what I grasp is because of what I've read when it comes to other kinds of birth control pills. I would recommend double checking beside your dr to see what they say.- yeast infection?
