What's wrong with me?

Today I went to the doc. cuz I enjoy a sore throte when I went she said I have strep and symptoms of mono,Can anyone tell me what that is to say and if its severe.And does it have anything to do next to my liver? because the doc. was checking my liver.Please Help.

Strep throat and mono are both very contagious. I'm sure she give you some good antiobiotics and I'm sure she did a throat culture. Have you be around anyone who has have this? Make sure everything you eat and drink out of is wash in bleach hose down to prevent anyone catching it. Good Luck and I don't think it will affect your liver.

Yes mono can be very serious, I have it back surrounded by 2000 and due to incompetant drs in my area I be not diagnosed properly until i went to a different hospital after spiking a feaver of 104.6, mono affects the spleen and the liver and but for properly treated (usually with 6-8 weeks of rest) it can be fatal.
