Spider veins and treatments?

I'm 17 and have really fruitless spider veins on my thighs and really loathe them. How can I treat them? I have hear about sclerotherapy to relief get rid of them, have anyone had sclerotherapy? what is it close to? whats the process like? does it work? thanks
