Has anyone had menstrual-like cramps for weeks in their late 40s?

I'm in perimenopause and hold skipped 3 periods surrounded by the last 6 months. About a month ago I started have cramps at night that own just not stopped. It's be 8 weeks on Tuesday since my last length. Has anyone else been irritated by seemingly neverending cramps in their 40s or 50s? Thanks!!

it was untimely 40's (i'm 43) and we fixed it last tuesday. i be diagnosed w/ a uterine fibroid in december. it caused everlasting cramps, backache, spotting, heavy period, etc. Also gas, feelings of fullness, nonspecific ache in the belly, fatigue.it goes on and on. see a gyno and ask to be checked.it take an ultrasound to diagnose them, but hysterectomy is not the only answer to them. honest luck

My sister deals near this a lot. She is 45 and some months she misses her period and then have really heavy ones other months. She does still obtain cramps and headaches. She is amazingly sick of it! She had to hold a D&C last month as she be bleeding so bad. I revulsion it for her - but don't know how to help. I have a hysterectomy when I was 29 - glad I did in a minute!
