Questions about the birth control ring.?

I was on the loestrin 24 pill (the one for short periods) and i'm thinking around switching to the ring. We are about to move and I already suck at remember to steal a pill every day and if I'm that busy I KNOW i'll forget. I've looked into getting and IUD and I'm not affection that idea too much. I want to hear from folks who have used/are using the ring. Any complaints? Side effects? Would you recommend it?

I'vebeen using Nuvaring for 3 months very soon and love it. DUring the first month I had some mild cramping and intermitent but rather intense nausea. I was worried almost the nausea continueing but it went away after the firt cycle. I hold since read that my exeriences are very adjectives and usually do not reappear. WHat I really like in the order of Nuvaring is not having to infer about it. it have really improved my sex-life. I'm awful at remembering pills too so I used to rely lone on condoms. I have since discovered I hold a latex allergy (i thought all that pain be normal.. hah) so immediately things are much better. A girl above me mentioned the ring slipping out. I have read that a small percentage of women own this problem no moatter how the ring is placed. Make sure it is placed high within the vagina, it's less plausible to slide out. Mine sits way up against my cervix and have never slipped out or even downwards. Another answer mentions a partner pulling the ring out during sex. This has never happen to me either, but I hold heard of it. I guess this would be likely to arise if your ring is placed lower in the vagina. My fiance has never even FELT the ring, agree to alone pulled it out of place.

I own also discovered 1 great side-effect, I've experienced a MAJOR increase in my libido! (and I have hear others express similar experiences) I used to use the pill, which had the conflicting effect. needless to vote, my Fiance loves the ring too. lol. I definitely recommend it, parley to your doc. Be warned, the ring can potential wreak side-effects similar to those of the pill... plus some others. just read up on it and monitor your body. righteous luck!

I own used the Nuvaring. I couldn't feel it once it be in. Sometimes it would slip absurd, but you can just push it right subsidise into place. It releases hormones like the pill but you don't own to remember it. That was great.
It also regulated my period and they only last a few days, Wed-Sat.
If you have a unyielding time remembering to take the pill at one and the same time everyday, I would recommend the ring.
I didn't have any side effects or complaints roughly speaking it, just that it could slip bizarre sometimes.

I've been on the Nuvaring for two years. Its really easy. Just push it up at hand and pull it out three weeks then. It stays put. The side effects were mild and be the same as the side effects for the pill. My period were regular and I didn't hold to remember to take a pill at alike time every day. I do recommend.

However, I enjoy heard roughly speaking women who have be with a partner, and he manage to pull out the ring during sex. Don't know if it's true. But I one-sidedly think that if you can't return with a good crow about that next to your partner, then it's the wrong partner for you.
