Can I start a new pack of birth control before my period starts?

I am leaving to NY on Thursday for time off and do not want to have my extent on my trip! My period is supposed to be here any morning now. Two weeks ago I go to the doctor to get a physical and draw from a new prescription of Yasmin birth control. I havent started it however because my period hasnt started. Could I start it in a minute to prevent my period from coming or at lowest possible shorten my period? I really do not want to enjoy it on my trip. Any suggestions?

DO NOT DO THAT! Unless that's what the directions read out on the pills do NOT take the pills precipitate ESP. if you are using them for sexual purposes! Mis-using your pills can result in an unwanted pregnancy, spotting, and probably other conditions. Use tampons when you go on break!...I'm just trying to assistance when I say this- when you travel and misuse pills and listen to people who report to you to do so,that's how you end up near unwanted pregnancies. Just wear tampons and you'll be fine, but DEF follow your pills directions.

Yes you can skip the sugar pills and just start a exotic pack and take that as you usually would.

Yes you can skip the end week of pills, you might have a few cramps but nil major. I enjoy done this a few times myself.

Yep, my doctor told me that brand new research shows it is perfectly fine to start your pills whenever as long as you are still consistent near when you take them and that in that will be no long term side affects.

dont do that if your on a tri-hormone one.i tired and i still get my period and it last longer then usual and my body be completly messed up...bad experiment, i own heard that single hormone ones do work tho
