Some birth controls pills can affect your personality, usually not for the better. This have happened to my daughter and to my best friend's daughter. If you start taking them, ask someone you trust to view you and tell you if you seem to be to be having crankiness, mood swings, predilection to cry etc. A change within the type of pill is usually all that's needed.

Read studies on birth control and cancer. Not the best idea to use that stuff. It messes near your hormones and you stop ovulating. It makes it harder to hold kids later too. Ask you doctor for other alternatives.

everyone responds differently to the pill. it shouldn't though and if you do then stop hastily and contact your doctor to see alternatives, mostly you should only consideration positive effects less acne clearer skin, smaller or a smaller amount to no periods beside less PMS, but the sucky point is possible weight gain but it is pretty small approx 5 lbs

Given that you are adding hormones to your body sometimes they can upset the symmetry and cause change in your self-esteem...my friend was a raving lunatic on a confident type of the pill...once she swapped to a different type (hence a different type of hormone) she was fine. The first type of pill i started on made my skin yucky...when i swapped to a different type i be fine. My advice is start on one type of pill...make available it a few weeks if you find it makes you sick, or change your personality after go final to the doctor and ask to try a different one...it may take some time but you and your doctor obligation to work together to find the right type of pill for you.once you do it will make the world of difference!
