How to temporarily treat yeast infection?

I am currently on antibiotics, and because of that, I have developed a yeast infection. Tomorrow I am going to phone call my doctor and have him hail as in a prescription to treat it, but until afterwards, is there a process to treat it? The itching is driving me insane! I bought some of those Vagisil medicated anti-itch wipes, they don't seem to be to help much. Please minister to if you can.

Hi, i am a fellow sufferer. I use inbred yoghurt on a tampon. If you can get some probiotic next to the natural germs on it really helps. I'm not kid by the way. It works for me.

Slather plain yogurt over the nouns. Sounds nasty but it works to counteract the infection. My sympathies!

I remember anyone young and crying on the phone to the nurse more or less my yeast infection - i had no thought what it was and it be itching like CRAZY!
I don't know what could minister to the itching, but cranberry juice is an antiseptic for the bladder, so that could sustain you. If you're having aching urinating it should help.

I've heard of the efficiency of a Hydrogen peroxide douche. You make a 30% solution (no more) of it surrounded by water and douche near it as needed, it supposedly restores the pH of the vaginal area to a more undesireable variety for yeast to grow. Part of the overgrowth (infection) of the yeast is a change (unbalance) surrounded by pH and so this kind've stabilizes it closer to your vaginal's run of the mill pH (which is slightly acidic and not dull like blood). You can buy a non-disposable douche bottle for this. I suggested it to a girlfriend going on for a few years ago, she called me posterior by the next sunshine or two and said it was working and the nouns was much needed. Now, I don't surmise this is a cure for it, I can't really be sure, but it is a substantial relief until you can catch medicated.

They sell medication for this over the counter now. Gynalotrimine (sp) is one I believe. But doc will give you a shot I believe.
