Is it dangerous to use lube with a condom?

a friend told me this, but i seriously doubt it, and just looked-for confirmation! also, are there any does and don'ts concerning the two? (lube+condoms)

It is impeccably fine to use lube with a condom. Just product sure you use a water or silicone base one so it doesn't break the condom

it is a good point actually. use river based lube. otherwise the condom can dry up and friction can explanation it to break. also, it is just more comfortable to lubricate those things.

Well your friend's kinda right. NEVER use an oil-based lube (like vaseline) with condoms, it weaken the latex and causes them to break. Water-based lube (like KY-Jelly) is certainly a good notion to reduce the friction, that's what they use to lube the condoms that are pre-lubed... Also--you should not store condoms contained by your wallet or car, they're more potential to break.

If it's wet based, consequently you're fine. Condoms are already lubricated, so I have no thought where your friend get that information. Maybe she meant petroleum jelly. Don't use that next to the condom, the chemical can cause the condom to break.

don't use an grease based lube. the grease actually breaks down latex. as long as it's hose or silicone based your ok. most grease based lubes, specificly narrate you not to use with condoms on the covering.
