Have you experienced and side effects from skipping the placebos in the birth control pill pack?

I know it’s safe..but have anyone felt any unpromising side effects from doing this to skip a period?

Be sure that your pill is the helpful with like peas in a pod dose of hormones all 3 weeks; otherwise it will not work to miss your time of year by skipping the placebos. (Works with Ortho Cyclen but NOT Ortho Tri-Cyclen within other words).

I've never heard of anyone have any side effects from this, but I wouldn't do it very normally just to be secure. If you're interested in skipping your period normally you might consider switching to a different pill like Seasonale (sp?) where on earth you only own a few periods a year.

No, it works fine. I did that sometimes when going on vacation etc. It's ok to do once contained by a while, but if you do it continously month after month, you may start spotting midcycle...

They are just that- placebos. No side effects, they are only there to save you on track and in dependence of taking your pills.

Yes, I have skipped the placebos and gone directly to my subsequent pack to miss my period, and yes I enjoy had side effects, I gain about 5 more pounds next usual, it may have be water, my appetite increased, and my mid unit swelled. Doctor's say it is non-hazardous, and I am sure it is but I still bloated up pretty good. Other next that no, I still had my term at the correct time the following month.
