My gf/partner is losing of hair from her scalp in a large patch?


gf/partner is only 27 and is developing a circular lacking hair patch on the rear of her skull. near is new growth on the shaved parts. she awaiting specialist treatment but in the meantime would close to to find out any infomation from ladies or doctors who can inform me about this problem in connection with possible causes and treatment. am grateful for any relief and infomation. we are in sydney australia

Could be stress related...
Alopecia areata(not sure of spelling and basically a guess)
See a skin specialist...topical ointment and intensely tiny injections of a form of prednisone may help...these injections don't hurt much at adjectives.
