cbent86 is right. I had one and the same problem, also due to anemia and for the longest time I couldn't do anything about because my mother wouldn't adopt the idea of me going on birth control. Once I finally did keep on it my periods become regular and we were competent to treat the anemia. My anemia was cause by the heavy period I had every 2 weeks. Also I know someone who have similar issues with her spell and her problem was an ovarian cyst. Her problem be also solved by taking birth control. Talk to you doc about it. Good Luck
