Birth-control...should i go on it? bad side effects?

ok im 15 and my period sucks more later usual.i get horrible cramps...to the point where on earth at time i just enjoy to lay on the floor for an hour until the pain pass over and sometimes Advil and other pain relievers don't give a hand. so i talked to doctor around it and she said that if i wanted she could put me on birthcontrol so i would receive my period one 4 times a year. my mom wasnt to fond of the hypothesis...she says the fruitless side effects arent worth it..but she's leaving the decree up to me. what should i do? what are some of the side effects?

You're individual 15 and you're body is still adjusting beside your periods. They should stabilize around 18 or 19. Wait until next. If they're still bad, consequently go on the pill. But, the pill does NOT backing with cramps.

You're too childlike to go on the pill (unless you're have sex) and I would not go on it immediately. Not because of the minor side effects (which do go away eventually), but because your body is still developing.

but u are young-looking and not necessarily needing it for the actual birth control. it is commonplace for young women to own bad period. the hormones may be more or less promising to badly affect you. It could not hurt to try, but if you are have unpleasant side effects and you do not feel it is worth it, it is your declaration. discuss your concerns with your doctor.
