PMS! Can you help?
Do you have any remedies for PMS? Have have this severely for years and it's got to the stage where on earth I am going to request having my ovaries taken out or something similar. I am extraordinarily low on B vitamins and calcium. Could this be making it worse? It's the mood swings and tiredness with depression thats the worst. Have any of you tried anything and it worked?
Answers:
B vitamins and calcium deficiency are reputed to play a big part surrounded by PMS, I have supported lots of women who are prescribed Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and calcium supplements for PMS symptoms.
There are lots of unconscious remedies that can help, if you are serious just about doing something positive for yourself then this is a great article http://altmedicine.around.com/cs/womenshe...
It will mean lots of change, and you won't see instant results, but it will be worth it in the long run.
But before you start on the pure route then you must be in motion to your Dr just to give an account him what you plan on doing and get his support, and to check it's OK for you to dance ahead.
Wishing you lots of luck with this, I hope that it help you feel better intensely soon.

Evening Primrose Oil capsule should really help, they made a difference for me.You should also be on calcium, which you read out you are, but you can help this along by consumption plenty of cheese, natural yoghurt and drinking milk. You would entail to check this is ok with your doctor though, as you don't want to overdose! But I would recommend the crude choice.
Oh, my mistake, you said you're LOW on calcium? In that case, devour lots of dairy products! It's proven to help.

What I find sometimes ease the [pain a little especially when trying to receive some sleep is a heat patch. One on the lower tummy and one on your lower middle back followed by a chalice of hot whiskey (hot toddie). They really do help! The vitamin point may have something to do next to your depression.. Vitamin B6 in doses around 50 mgs a day is said to facilitate about 70 % of women next to PMS. The over the counter tablets are only 10mgs so receive these on prescription if your GP agrees.
Progesterone such as norithisterone would be my next choice.2-3 tablets on a daily basis from the 19th to the 26th day of the cycle, again these are prescription single.
The combined pill will help some women.
Prozac did own a licence for PMS, and did help some women. That specific licence have been withdrawn, but some GPs are still likely to try it,with patients' agreement.
Controlled studies on epogram (evening primrose) shows it help the mastalgia (breast pain), but none of the other symptoms. I am also unaware of any significant role of calcium, however adjectives young females should enjoy good calcium intakes anyway to trim down their risk of osteoporosis in next life.
Is it common to have a extent every 6 or 7 weeks??
I think most of us achieve weepy when its that time or near, you could try taking some iron tablets to prevent the tiredness, and a mixture of vitamin a,b,c,and d can't hurt can it. if your that worried progress talk to your doctor, they should insist on you to do or take something for it, if none of these option are visible, consequently try going to your local chemist, as they can give you over the counter remedies if you put in the picture them what wrong. good luck hon hope you gain it sorted out soon. =) xIm bleeding when i shouldnt be, i really need push for?
