I'm concerned about the condition of my liver, would any problem been detected during hospital stay for labor?
This is probably a weird put somebody through the mill, but I've been really concerned roughly the state of my liver due to a recent emergency gallbladder removal surgery and since I was not long admitted to the hospital due to I be pregnant and going into labor, I was in recent times wondering if the doctor's or nurses run any tests next that would have be able to pick up on any possible liver disease or problems. I denote becuase they did take blood sample from me & I'm assuming they were conducting tests those samples to check for any condition problems. Or am I wrong? What do they do with the blood sample they take during hospital stays due to labor?

I know exactly why you are concerned!! I have be through a very similar situation.
It started two months ago when I have extreme pain contained by my right upper stomach and was 8 months pregnant. I call my doctor that evening and they thought it was the flu and suggested I come surrounded by the office the following time for a check up. My blood pressure was sky glorious, so they rushed me to labor and delivery, and afterwards by ambulance to a hospital more prepared for premature deliveries. They diagnosed me as preeclamptic because my liver enzymes be elevated.
To make a long story short, I be induced at 32 weeks just two days following and my little girl was born.
Two weeks after her birth, I be in the ER next to the same severe affliction - and was diagnosed beside gall stones. Six ER trips following, they scheduled an emergency removal of my gallbladder because they believed stones to be blocking the bile duct, cause my liver enzymes to elevate.
I am scheduled to achieve blood work done next week to check my liver and label sure things are going back to typical now that my gallbladder have been removed.
I said adjectives of that to say this...
I WAS DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL AND MY LIVER ENZYMES WERE SEVERELY ELEVATED. I would name your primary care physician and request they do bloodwork to check your blood count and liver enzymes. It can never hurt to find out if everything is ok. It will be ably worth the extra visit to the doctor.
Hope that help.

If you recieved good prenatal watchfulness then they did the test. I know they checked mine when i was pregnant.why are you concerned about this, what make you wonder if something is wrong with your liver..it would be up to your regular doctor, not your ob to be checking out that stuff..phone your regular md...my opinion in that are so many different test for liver functions and such,if you are there because you are within labor any blook work would be related to that...checking clotting factor, red blood levels for anemia, white cell for infection
