Can anyone tell me why I have lower abdominal pain after intercourse?

The pain is not adjectives the time but when it happens it really hurts. My doctors assume that it is IBS, that makes no since to me. Sometimes I am unqualified to have sex for days the misery is so bad. I also surface really swollen or full inside during this time. Can anyone help. Thanks

yes thats true. could be a tumor or a cyst...or even an std. And it could be possible that its ibs. But definately have an ultrasound done. There are plenty alternatives if its a fibroid tumor.definately bring back a 2nd opinion doesn`t matter what you do.goodluck

I would suggest a transabdominal/endovaginal ultrasound. You may have fibroids, or cysts surrounded by your uterus/cervix. Sex, and air pressure may bring this to irritate.

it might be good to hold it checked out by a gyno, i had like problem and it turned out to be a tumor, no cancer but it hurt, even more so if u bleed afterwards
