Whats up with the sharp stomach pains with IUD?

I just get my IUD about 1 month ago, and I simply got of my length, it was heavier later normal, which I know would happen, but the subsequent day after I get off of my term, I got these reallt HORRIBLE sharp pains in my stomach. What should I do?

I had a copper IUD for 10 years. What you are experiencing is mundane, especially for the first few months. But, if you are worried it can't hurt to call your doctor and check.

You do know that an IUD does not prevent pregnancy, it purely scrapes the fetus past its sell-by date your uterus wall? So in other words, it does an abortion every time you grasp pregnant. The IUD can become lodged in your uterus wall and do problems too! Was this a wise choice of birth control for you?
