I'm having a hysterectomy done in a few weeks, will I gain weight or lose it after the surgery?

My gynocologist and I agree on a total hysterectomy and I want to know am I going to gain weight after or not. If I am I want the best exercise out in attendance for women who have gone thru this. Is nearby any helpful words that I can use?

Thank so much for any advice

if you dont keep watch on what you eat remarkably carefully until you start moving around again you will gain mass. the first 4 weeks or so you will be sitting down quite a bit. you involve to walk, small bits at a time increasing the distance every time. dont pull anything, no house cleaning, if it falls on the floor, leave it near. walking is the best thing you can do but you also dont want to overdo it. also drink a great deal of water. a website that can be a devout advice place for every interview you could possibly have is www.hystersisters.com

a details from personal experience: you will be in distress, laughing will hurt. dont watch anything on tv that will sort you laugh, if you do monitor it, watch it alone because pleasure is contageous. keep something handy to hold people from making you giggle such as a fly swatter, or a pack of rubber bands you can shoot across the room at them, slingshot, bb gun (kidding)! laughing be the hardest part for me and everyone considered necessary to make me gurgle. enjoy your recouping time. dont get dressed or put on makeup unless you are set for people to stop doing things for you. once you show you can move around more or less well and start looking mundane on the outside, no matter how discouraging you feel inside, culture will assume that you no longer need back. look as helpless as you can, for as long as you can. dont overdo anything!!

you have 1 casual to recover the right path the first time!!

any questions you necessitate answered from someone who has be there or merely need to natter i can be found at [email protected]

Help Please!?

i HAD THE SAME PROCEDURE SEVERAL YEARS AGO IN MY 40'S. I DID NEITHER, I STAYED WITHIN 5 LBS OF MY PRE SURGERY WEIGHT.DON'T WORRY,IT'S THE BEST THING I EVER DID FOR MYSELF.GOOD LUCK!

Can you start menopause in your 20s?

You'll gain, honey. Sorry. Most women do unless they're genetic freaks of character. I narrowly avoided the hysterectomy surgery 3 different times, and all 3 times I have diet and exercise plans drawn up for immediately after the surgery to curtail any extra bulk gain. I'm a runner so I pay close attention to that stuff anyway, and I be truly afraid I'd gain momumental amounts just because of the hormonal change. I can tell you that running, swimming and weight-bearing exercise (especially since you won't be producing oestrogen any longer) are the best things out near for you. Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grain, and not a lot of meat products, if you can avoid it (white is better than red, however, if you still can't avoid it). Then again, I'm sure here are some women out there who've have the surgery done and felt so much better afterwards that they own actually lost because they own a better lifestyle. My diseases keep me restricted to the bed profusely of the time with a bottle of cramp medication...that's one reason I don't put away much and why I run whenever I get the uncertainty. Maybe your scenario will mean you'll be aware of like anyone active and you won't enjoy to worry just about gaining at adjectives! (If you haven't yet, you should drop by this site: www.hystersisters.com. It really helped me when I be scheduled for the hystos, even though I luckily never have to go through near them!)
