It is safe to do this once or twice. I work surrounded by a gynecology office, and the doctors speak not to continually do this as your body does need to shed your uterine pool liner after a few months. So you can do this, but don't do it forever. There are other birth control options if you are looking for smaller amount periods, also. Some option allow you to only enjoy a period every 3 months.
