Amoxicilline and how it affects birth control (please read details)?

My girlfriend has be taking a strong birth control pill for about a year immediately. She took two or three amoxicillin pills on Saturday and Sunday. We had sex once on Sunday afternoon. I did not ejaculate inside of her. I'm pretty worried in the order of this so I just required to know if it's very probable that she could be pregnant, considering she only took a couple amoxicillin pills and I didn't ejaculate inside of her. Thanks for any oblige.

It is not very feasible but it is possible. Below is info I found on the subject.

The effects of antibiotics on birth control pills may be overstated — except in the case of one antibiotic, rifampin. Studies clearly show that rifampin decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills contained by preventing ovulation.

Hypothetically speaking, other antibiotics, particularly penicillin and tetracycline derivatives, could impair the efficiency of birth control pills. However, no large studies hold proved such an effect.

Researchers can't rule out the possibility that a small percentage of women may experience decreased worth of birth control pills while taking an antibiotic. And if you're taking a newer, extremely low-dose oral contraceptive, you could be more susceptible to these potential effects from antibiotics. If you're concerned, consider using a barrier method of contraception for the duration of your antibiotic prescription.

Anyone try Zelnorm?

firstly it does not run you to inside her for her to get pregnant, you enjoy pre which contains thousands of sperm, secondly any amount of antibiotic therapy can affect the pill, thirdly where on earth in her cycle did you enjoy intercourse as this will give you an indication of the risk horizontal, when using antibiotics dont rely in the pull out method, used condoms. she should hold a pregnancy test if her spell does not arrive on time., if you are surrounded by the uk you can get the emergency contraception pill 72 hours after sex to prevent pregancy but its too overdue for that.
