Call from the gynecologist?

is it true that after a gynecologist appointment and after getting yourself checked for stds, etc., they usually dont call immediatly if you tested unenthusiastic for any infections/diseases? do they call you right away if you hold something or if you dont? my experience is that they dont call you when they read out the will if you are negative for anything.

My experience have been that any doctor tend not to call right away unless you own a life threatening condition. If you are expecting assessment results, the best thing to do is ask what daytime the results should be back and phone up that afternoon. I have found that works best.

I suggest afternoon a bit than morning because I used to work in a hospital laboratory. The results from test we have to send to other labs usually come in delayed morning and early afternoons.
