Yes i had one closing year. It didnt hurt but gave me unforgivable cramping pains whilst i was have it done. The biopsy was one sharp throbbing then it be over. I had to turn to bed when i got home as i could still discern everything that had happen. I also bled a little too but they endow with you a sanitry towel to put on before you depart from.

Hi - It is usually done if nearby are questions in the order of your pap smear. A speculum is put in, resembling a pap smear, and the practitioner looks at your cervix through magnifying lenses near different colored lights. A cold solution is put on your cervix (smells like vinager) to lend a hand in evaluation of the cervix. If problems are noted, near may be a biopsy of the area contained by question (which hurts a little) and a biopsy of the inside of the cervical strait (which also hurts a little).
