Posterior cervix, what does it mean?

I was told during an exam and an IUD placement today that I own a posterior cervix, What does this mean? I hold had one child and I have a very difficult pregnancy, (oligohydraminos) followed by an even worse 36 hr posterior confinement, is this in anyway connected and what does it show in regard of future fertility. I move about back to the Dr. on fri. after taking a medication to dilate my cervix,(had to give somebody a lift the same med during labor) but a moment ago wanted some warning beforehand. Thanks ahead of time!

"Normally" the cervix (the orifice of the uterus) is tilted toward your belly so sperm can enter the uterus easily and it make childbirth less difficult. With a posterior cervix, the channel is tilted so that it is facing towards your butt. (anterior means towards your belly, posterior resources towards your butt) A posterior cervix would explain your difficult pregnancy because in your case the babe's head be angled toward your butt while going down the birth canal. A posterior cervix could lessen your probability of conceiving in the future because the sperm might enjoy trouble finding the opening into your uterus (for want of better terms) However, you got pregnant past so it is possible for you to get pregnant again. Some population can't conceive at all because of this. If you find some difficulty in the adjectives getting pregnant, there are sex positions you could try to increase your likelihood of sperm goping through the cervix. feel free to ask your doctor specific question.

Nipple strangeness.?

Cervices (plural of cervix) are mobile in the vagina.
They move from front to put money on, side to side and round and round.
Non-pregnant, they tend to stay in duplicate neighborhood, but in pregnancy, the skipper's depth can bring the cervix front and center, or the head can come down while the cervix is still posterior (facing more towards the wager on of the vagina).
When you cervix is posterior it is also closed and not opened at adjectives. Once you become pregnant the cervix starts going through changes surrounded by response to the hormones circulating throughout your body. Ultimately this will mean the birth of your tot when your cervix completely opens up.
