Why would I own vaginal bleeding 5 years after total hysterectomy?

I am 42 years old and it has be more than 5 years since my total hysterectomy. I have not experienced any problems since the surgery and was rather surprised when after sexual activity today I had slightly a bit of bleeding. Could anyone out there tell me what could be the problem?

Answers:    Have you be having regular PAP smears since your hysterectomy? If not, now is the time. Even though you don't enjoy your uterus anymore, you need to continue have PAP smears. It is still possible to get cancer. .
you know when you first have sex or first enjoy rough sex you bleed, if you havent had sex in a while (like 3 months) this could take place.
it happens to me if i dont have sex for a few months, its gone the subsequent day...

idk about the hysterectomy i am approaching 19.
I don't know, maybe you got pounded a bit to rock-hard..I don't know. Go ask the doctor. We're not licensed to tell you what your problem is, jut ask your doctor maybe you should you should see a doc. you could hold ruptured something or it could be an infection Please go to doctor. Hope everything gets better.
if you own your ovaries still you could have cysts. or perhaps a gash in the vaginal wall You have aids
