You're supposed to start most birth control pills on the first day of your spell. Your prescribing doctor should have discussed a start time with you, and when the pills would become impressive after that date. It really depends on where you are in your cycle and what pill you've be prescribed.

You can take your pills immediately and when you get to the end you will start your time of year. You'll change your cycle. health department put me on birth control when i as on my term..they said i had to wait until i have my period...that was the shot anyways..after i switched over to the pill.
