When doing monthly breast exams, how do you know what is regular, and what is a growth?

I hope this didn't sound like too stupid of a press, I've just always be worried.

Answers:    My doctor told me that if it is soft and moveable it's more llikely ok, but if it is hard and won't move, it needs to be checked. He also told me that when doing monthly exams that the armpit nouns, up the chest (almost to the collerbone) and halfway between the breasts are all breast tissue and should be checked as resourcefully.

I hope this helps!.
I say to progress with your gut! a good friend of mine found a small mole on her breast a few years ago and have a feeling that it was something desperate, she went in for a breast nouns and when her doctor said it was nothing she insisted on getting a scan on it. After much resolution she did and found out it was something much more and could be cancerous. Luckily she had it removed surrounded by time.

Like i said go with your gut and consult your Doctor just about it.

Hope This Helps

First off, no question roughly your health is stupid! You won't get answers unless you ask.

A BSE (breast self exam) is extremely vital for early detection of breast cancer. A young woman can do the exam starting beside their first menses. NOTE: Men should also do BSE, they also have breast tissue.

As you perform the exam, you will become decipherable with what is normal for you. I hold found mayoclinic.com to be a vary informative site for anything dealing with vigour. It will give you step by step instructions on how to do a BSE and answer many question you may have.
