What is the clear gooey stuff contained by my panties?

Answers:

I be wondering...?

This should help you decide.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is usual. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to jump away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and ending of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and mode you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be especially heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy close to cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after period, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor explicitly strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight blush and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your term

Glands inside your vagina and cervix make small amounts of fluid. This fluid flows out of the vagina each hours of daylight, carrying out old cells that own lined the vagina. This is your body's way of keeping your vagina good and clean. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad.

The color and mass of the discharge change with your monthly cycle. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when a woman is sexually excited.

Changes that may signal a problem include an increase contained by the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning within or around your vagina. This is called vaginitis. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not have your period could also be a sign of a problem. Some other types of infections such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can also cause discharge specifically usually accompanied by odor such as beer/yeast/fish.

I would recommend that if you have any of these signs or any concerns concerning this you consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and for proper treatment should you have anything bar just a normal vaginal discharge.

Good luck :)
