What brand of pad do you use?
Answers: use which ever one you feel comfortable using.
When I hold my period the thing I am concerned most give or take a few is comfort. I dont really care who hears me crack a pad. Every woman has a length and though mine might be a pain sometimes I am proud to have it. I use Always pad simply because I find them the most comfortable and they make me feel the most confident. I hold used Kotex and Stayfree as well and while they are good they merely dont offer me the confidence that Always does. I've been trying out different brands for a while and found that that Kotex works best for me, especially the the ultra-compact. It's hushed (when you take it out of the packaging), soft, really absorbent and you don't even know you're wearing it. The downside is that it's kinda bulky.
Always, surrounded by my opinion, is nice and thin, but too papery. Like, you can hear and consistency it when you're moving around. I found the absorbency okay, though, but it doesn't work too well. But it's nice that they have more products to choose from.
Other brands include Seventh Generation and Natracare (they enjoy pads too, not just tampons). I haven't tried them but, but they're made from natural cotton, and not bleached or chemically treated materials used in commercial pad. These are a bit more expensive, but are suppose to be better for you.
Certain brands can work well for one person, but horrible for another. We're adjectives different, so different preferences. My advice is to keep trying different brands (you could attain free samples online or something) to see which brand works well for YOU. .
I use Always - and I agree, the wrapper IS pretty loud, lol. Sometimes I rip the covering off when the toilet flushes or the water is running or something - it help mask the noise ;) Gahh that's a while stern.
But, when i used them ( i got tampons all the time very soon. )

I use Always. I don't enjoy to use them at all anymore! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!.
I use Carefree. It looks like I'm the simply one. o__o
