Weight not going anywhere?

I have PCOS and I am insulin resistant. I was put on Metformin roughly speaking a month ago, and lost 8 lbs so far on it, but I can't seem to lose anymore. My weight is a short time ago staying the same. I am on 500 mg of Metformin a day. Any tips on how I could gain the weight loss going again? I still need to lose just about 22 more lbs.

Answers:    Metformin doesn't necessarily make you lose weight, it regulates your blood sugars and insulin level. You still have to eat better by avoiding foods that will spike insulin level like sweets, white breads and pastas, chips, crackers, etc. Eating 6 times a day will relieve to as it will keep your blood sugars steady.
