Scary Colposcopy : (?
I have be reffered to the colposcopy clinic and im really nervous around someone looking down there near a microscope. i already get anxious when i go for a smear because the thought of the clamp article just freaks me out a bit. presently im finding that i have to move about to the clinic. My nurse has told me that because i freak out at the little clamp that i should appropriate a support person near me.
I was of late wondering if it was sore, unexpected or even scary for anyone else.
My boyfriend requirements to come to be there for me but im not to sure if to be exact a good conception as i might just freak out on him as im really panicky
Can anyone help me out so i might not be so anxious to do this
Answers: I've had a colonoscopy and I be a little nervy not knowing what to expect. And I have to read out the nurses didn't help adjectives that much when they wheel you into the room where on earth they do the test and you've get a nurse on each side of you and they're asking you question and you can see the doctor at the foot of your bed getting his instruments ready or doesn`t matter what. But before you enjoy the time to really get fidgety you're out like a street lamp and you don't really wake up until you're stern in your room. I remember I upchucked for a while, not really sick to my stomach, it just happen, just stomach juice I guess since you can't eat the darkness before. Really, though, it's smaller amount painful than a pap smear but scareier , I guess raison d`??tre you have to jump to a special clinic. You aren't sore or anything afterward and after awhile they'll give you some gingerale or something and dispatch you home to finish sleeping off the after effects of the drug. Anyhow transport it from someone who's been within, done that - it's a piece of cake nothing to be like a cat on a hot tin roof about. best entry for you to do is just recline back and shift with the flow.
I enjoy had this done. It is almost like as having a regular pap. I recommend taking some tylenol around an hour before your appointment. Like a pap, your foot are in the stirrups and they use like clamp. They had to swab near iodine on the tissue inside, they looked inside with the freedom and had to hold a biopsy. The biopsy is a bit painful. Like man pinched. I had a short time bleeding afterwards, so I advise you to bring a wad with. I do suggest have your bf there, He sounds extraordinarily supportive. I also had another creature in the room who be learning how to do this type of procedure, that be a bit weird, but how else be she to learn. It really isn't as fruitless as it sounds. Good luck.
