Skipping my time while using Ortho Tri Cyclen?

Period Overflow!! - Women singular!?
This can be done with any BC, just skip the sugar pills and start a strange pack of pills. If you've never done this before there is a adjectives you will have a little spotting, especially if you are have a lot of sex during the week you would normally be on your time of year. With 12 days to your period and 18 days till you see your boy I say you stand a righteous chance of being free and clear to show him a honest time before he deploys. Give it a shot, it won't hurt you!How can I trade name sex easier?
I've heard you can do that, too.I infer it would probably be okay, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. And be aware that it will throw sour your cycle by a week.
I would expect a little breakthrough bleeding, but not much really.
In fact, I contemplate I remember reading somewhere on the website for the pill that you can do that...?
Good luck =)
It's a worthwhile cause
Please contact me for information on my problem, it is to degrading to describe here. FEMALES ONLY?
it is pretty acurate, my dr used to recommend me to do it i never bled... just skipped it... purely dont take the sugar pillsLadies, sustain me take my boyfriend tested!!?
According to my nurse, you should not skip periods (called "cycling") beside combination pills (pills that give you a different levels of hormones at different times of the month-- the pills are more than two different colours). Doing this can mess up your cycle and you may call a halt up getting your period anyway. Ortho Tri Cyclen is a combination pill.If you are planning on skipping periods repeatedly (although you shouldn't do it twice in a row or too often at all), you might want to consider switching to a monophasic pill (one that give you the same levels of hormones throughout the full month). I am on Marvelon, which works great, i've seen no side effects and i've been competent to skip periods with no problems-- though the subsequent period was a bit more self-conscious than usual.
Edit, i just found some instructions on using triphasic pills (like yours) to skip periods. But this will merely delay your period by a week, NOT skip it until the subsequent dose of placebos like it would with a monophasic pill.
To skip one "period" (or rescheduling the bleeding by one week)
A) Take one active pill [7 white + 7 light blue + 7 blue pills for Orto Tri-Cyclen] per light of day for 21 days. When you get to the 7 placebo pills [green pill for Ortho Tri-Cyclen] throw them out and instead take the third week of stirring pills from a new pack [7 blue pills for Ortho Tri-Cyclen].
Once you're done, either start a topical pack right away (skip bleeding) or wait one week and then start a exotic pack (delays bleeding by one week).
[Pack #1] 7 white pills + 7 light blue pills + 7 blue pills + [Pack #2] 7 blue pills.
Start a new pack right away/Wait one week, afterwards start a new pack.
B) Take one active pill [7 white + 7 bedside light blue + 7 blue pills for Orto Tri-Cyclen] per day for 21 days, followed by one placebo pill [green pill for Ortho Tri-Cyclen] for 7 days (bleeding). After the last placebo pill linger for one week*; don't take any pills. Then start a new pack and hold the 21 active pills, followed by the 7 placebo pills. [This regimen shifts the bleeding episode by one week during the second month.]
*VERY IMPORTANT: You are not protected against pregnancy during the week you delay taking the subsequent pack. You must use an alternate birth control method (condom, diaphragm, sponge, etc.).
7 white pills + 7 light blue pills + 7 blue pills + 7 green pills.
Wait one week (no pills). [No Pregnancy Protection!]
Start a new pack.
ortho tri cyclen is NOT the best pill to use for this purpose, but it will probably work for this one time. you lately skip the placebo (sugar) pills and go directly into the next contemporary pack. since you are on a tri cyclic pill you may have some breakthrough bleeding during this but maybe not. If you do own some bleeding it is not bad, just preserve taking one pill a day.
another option to shorten your extent is only take 3 of the placebo pills (instead of adjectives 7) and then start the new pack.
for girls who want to use the pill to skip period, they really should be on a monophasic pill or one that gives the same amount of hormones throughout the month. tricyclic pills close to yours change the amount of hormone throughout the month
