Sit-ups and crunches...?

so ive been doing alot of crunches and sit- ups lately. im also trying to lose weight and i be wondering if the excersize will help me lose fat first and later tone my muscles, or tone my muscles and not really help with the round too much?

Answers:    well if you keep doing crunches and sit-ups there's beyond question that you will get some muscles. It might take a while to build those muscles but if your consistent, you'll own great results. Plus muscle burns fat so you have both. Also another great ab workout: Lay on your wager on and lift your arms and legs just a couple inches sour the floor and hold it there. You'll feel a burn, trust me but it works great!.
you necessitate to do cardio to burn fat.

You would have to be on a bike for a minimum of 20 minutes to start burning obese..
Crunches are better than sit ups...I don't know if you will lose weight just by doing crunches, but you will become stronger. In some cases, you might even gain bulk because muscle weighs more than fat. If you build muscle it in reality eats away at the fat b/c muscle wants more energy to maintain itself. It still tones, but it'll be frozen to see until the fat is gone..
fat doesnt turn to muscle but by target the key spots where here is fat, you can loose the fat and tone muscles:) If you want to burn large you really need to be doing cardio also with crunches. Keep a sophisticated than normal heart rate for at least 20 min. to start burning chubby. .
Running is a great way to burn fat and tone leg and butt muscles! Keep doing sit up and crunches every-other light of day and try to run on the in between days I think it will procure the fat away.
And then tone, (:
