ok so last month I had some vaginal odour for going on for a week after my period. I thought it might be a yeast infection so I used some over the counter stuff which did not help and so I thought it might be BV and get swabed at the doctor's and started Flagyl but then she called me and said I dint own anything to begin with and the smell go away. But I had my period final week and the smell came back (kinda metallic/fishy) and Im going to ask the doctor roughly speaking it. But because I was really impatient I took just one of the not here over Flagyls and Im on Alesse and I know antibiotics can affect the pill but I just took one and normally you rob 2 a day for a week. Im seeing my partner next monday and I don't know whether to use put money on up?? help please?

If its during or right after your period, I conjecture its normal. Its just the smell of the blood exposed to nouns. What might work to reduce the smell is a tampon with fragrance. This course the blood doesn't sit on a pad and is not exposed to air. I use tampons and never hold any problems with smell. Only FRESHNESS!! Don't take medication without consulting your doctor. If you have gloomy test results you are fine. This is normal.

There are single a few antibiotics that have been proven to compromise birth control protection, and Flagyl is not one of them. Because of this, and the certainty that you took even less than one dose, I would say you are at terrifically very low risk for pregnancy as long as you are taking your pill correctly otherwise. However... it can never hurt to use back up, and sometimes it's better to hold the peace of mind just from being safe and sound. Totally your call!
