Should I take the GARDASIL vaccine??
Answers: I didn't get it. It single helps prevent cervical cancer if you are sexually active, as you can really with the sole purpose get HPV if you are sexually active. I'd hold bad. .
YES! it prevents some of the most serious forms of HPV which can lead to cancer. You may not be sexually active very soon or anywhere in the near adjectives. but I'm sure sometime in your life you will own sex, and you can't trust anyone's history. and no one wants a shot any. it is extremely benficial for your health and others. my parents are very religious and do not regard as i am sexually active at all and still recommended i win it because its such a good vaccine. and come on your 16, its just a shot I would be tentative. THis is the main reason. You will still aways inevitability to use a condom to protect yourself. The vaccine does not protect from all forms of HPV that cause cervical ca. And within are many other diseases you need protection from.
I hold had a very impossible experience from taking the flu vaccine, and now will forever be guarded about the vaccines I will expose myself to. If it is for something approaching Hepatitis B, the number one cause of liver cancer worldwide, and the vaccine totally prevents the disease, they I think it is worth taking. .
I would recommend it. It can prevent up to 6 types of cervical cancer. you never know when you might become sexually alive. Once may expose you to a virus that might lead to cervical cancer. Yes, the shots do hurt, but it is worth it. Take some tylenol or advil one hour before the doctor look in and you will be fine. yes. you should get it. getting 3 shots is so much better than getting cervical cancer!
here's something to think in the order of: if you got it, you could give it to your partner (yes, guys can acquire it too. although they don't have a cervix... so there's not much for them to be worried about), then you two could break up... and he could afford it to his new partner. and even if nothing happen to you. she could get cancer.
i've gotten it, and yes, it hurt... but no more than any other shot they could give you.
do something for yourself, and for others, and obtain that vaccine. your heath and your life is worth it. .
not a soul can force you to get this vaccine since the disease it prevents is not contagious. if you're not sexually active, don't carry it. there have be studies saying it causes seisures, and its not worth it.
