My 17 year old sister lives with me and my boyfriend and i've notice that while washing her clothes her underwear always smell really desperate. No I am not sniffing her underwear. But when I put them in the washer they are like a yellowish borwnish stain within the crotch area and they have this fishy/sour smell to them. I approched her almost this and she said shes embarrassed but she says she wash everyday but when she takes off her underwear they are other wet and have that color and smell. Does anyone know what this is? Is she lying to me and not wash herself? Or does she needs some kind of medical attention? I know this may come across gross. But if a mature adult could confer me some feed back that would be great. Thank you.

The fishy smell tells me could be a germ called candica albicans and the yellowish stain -that could be trichomonas vaginalis .It could be other bacterial infection but this are more probably.
