Period request for information? Help!

I always get my length on the same day or around matching day every month and it always last exactly 7 days, never less never more. Am i supposed to get it for 7 days, is that mundane? Also i'm 13 and i've had my period for a year and a partially. My lower back always hurts a great deal when i have my period, is this average?

Answers:    Yeah, every body's periods are different, your's sounds good - mine's other different (can't wait till it's regular!)
The back pains are usual too, everyone's PMS is different too.
If you're worried about the back pains cooperate to your mum or go to the doctors.
xx.
Everyone is different.
so 7 days is probably right for you!
I have friends who are on their term for 9 days sometimes longer. But i'm never on mine longer than 4 days!
I also read somewhere that if you take 600mg calcium supplement it rids you of period anguish i've been taking it for the last 6 months and works close to a dream but must be 600mg!
Might be worth a try!
Also i take vitamin D aswell as the body needs vitamin D to engage calcium!
Hope that helps!!.
Yes, lower back backache and the length of your periods are common. I was the same at your age beside the length of periods and pinpointing when you would start every month. Consider yourself lucky that you are regular next to your periods and not bouncing all over the calendar. Hope this info help. Yes, both the seven days and the pain are normal.

My period last 7 days also - so did my mom's.

You can use something like Pamprin or a roast wrap for the pain in your rear legs.
