Painless lump on inner thigh?

OK so I've discovered a painless bump on my inner thigh, right near my pubic area. It re-occurs every few months or so, sometimes hurting, sometimes not. Does anyone know what this bump could be? Also, I'm 17, and not sexually active.

Answers:    If it is cystic it could be a sebaceous cyst.
As you say it comes and go it can be a very rare femoral hernia( deeply rare and very unlikely)
If it is more on the outer lip it can be a Bartholin, cyst.
A doctor have to make the diagnosis.
i will not give a minutes worth of difficulty in saying GO TO THE DR, as my daughter have a suspicious growth in her eye and everyone told me not to worry...it be cancer. It could be a cyst. Some are harmless and will come and go.If it continues call upon your doctor or talk to your mother..
It could be a bite or a cyst. Go to the doctor babe
