im on my period but its light. and i be looking at my vagina through the mirror and i saw this thing in my vagina similar to in the middle of it and i thought it was my hymen. what is it? because newly recently i was trying to put a tampon within and it wouldnt go in! I AM DEAD SERIOUS PLEASE HELP & THANKS IN ADVANCE!

It probably is your hymen. You may not be able to use tampons even so if your hymen is blocking too much of your vagina. You could also be trying to put the tampon in at the wrong angle. Try different things, but if it causes discomfort, afterwards stop or try something else. Good luck!
