My mom is have a hysterectomy right immediately...

my mom is having a hysterectomy right now and I am on the other stide of the world purely wondering if she is okay... :( Anyone else out there who had one? She said she is going to be surrounded by the hospital for 2 days and then stuck in her apartment (she isn't supposed to step up or down the stairs) for 4-6 weeks. Is it really that intense of a procedure? I've always thought they were pretty adjectives. It surprises me that she will be so restricted for so long...

my mom had one a few months back and you're right they are VERY adjectives and she will be just fine. The first two days were the worst as near any surgery. The worst pain she had from it adjectives was gas afterwards as when they close you up sometimes some extra air can catch in there but save for that she healed up pretty quick and immediately is happier than ever, she said she'd do it 100 times over! I'm sure they're just keeping her to monitor her, it's not that intense of a procedure they told my mom the same point and she was on a jet ski after 3 weeks. I wouldn't suggest that but I'm sure they of late say what they have to to cover their own butt.
.
The procedure is rather common but the recovery is no smaller number painful because of this. She is getting her abdomen cut overt and depending ont he severity of her hysterectomy all or some of her female organs removed. That take a bit of healing time on her behalf.

She should be fine, and hopefully she has someone who will be near to help her out..
my mum had 1 too a few years ago..it stressed me out soooo desperate...th operation is super common n millions of woman hav th operation without complication..my mom did hav sum complications but tha one and only led 2 her being contained by hospital for a couple of days xtra..n she was totally fine! as 4 th stairs thing..my mum def didnt abide by that lol..infact she go back to work a couple of weeks after it lol...it basically method that she shouldnt lift heavy objects etc etc..a bit close to in pregnacy..how ironic lol..neways gd luck n dont stress!! my mom's good friend a short time ago had one, just check within with her periodically and make sure that she is following the doctors information and going back for her follow up and all, she should be fine. Also if she have someone that could check on her at her house and help take perfectionism of her that would be great. .
The surgery itself is low risk, but the recovery can take a long time, and can be slightly painful for her. Once she's recovered, she'll feel a great deal better than before she had her surgery. I hope both of you are consciousness better soon. Yes, Hysterectomy usually is fairly symple but it depend on why she is getting one, there could be other cercumstances that lead her to this procedure so it may be more complicated.
Ask your mother..
This is a hard core surgery. They are removing her uterus. In doing so, they must cut through layers of gelatinous muscle. She will be fine, but she will need lots of time to recover. The surgery is not risky (so much) but the salvage is difficult. I hope she has arranged for someone to help her through a few days
