It depends on how heavy the flow is. Toilet thesis can work in a pinch if the flow isn't too heavy. You can other visit the school nurse for supplies if needed. Try to plan ahead and hold supplies handy if possible. I don't mean to startle you or embarrass you, but a friend of mine got hers unexpectedly at school and another friend done up walking close behind her to block other people from seeing because the blood soaked through her clothes. yes rolled up tiolet paper would work but not for long. go to the nurses organization they should always have pad and tampons. I started my period in 8 status, during reading class. i told the teacher i had to move about to the bathroom. i felt weird and showery, then after i figured i started my first interval i went back to class to let somebody know the teacher i was going to the nurse and i have started my period she said okay. then i go to the nurse and told her i needed to call my mom and i needed a pad. my mom have to bring me clean underwear. lol. it sucked,she brought me pads too, and they be so huge... lol.. i though everyone could see them through my pants but really they couldnt. and it was charitable of embaressing but every girl goes through so its really not.No. Have a pad on paw. If your first period is average flow (mine was) rolled up toilet paper is no polite. It will work okay for a few minutes till you get to the nurse's office or borrow one from a friend, but be smart and lately keep a couple in your backpack, locker, or purse, and after you won't have to worry more or less it.

this happened to me at arts school this month but it was not my first period. i am 16, started when i be 12.
i did not have a tampons or pads or quarter to buy those supplies so i only used rolled up toilet paper. it worked for my heavy extent. so yup
probably depending on how heavy or light it is. I would reccommend carrying around a wad and prehaps even spare undies (i know its kinda embarassing) around in your school sack just to be safe. You dont want the blood getting through onto your uniform
