Medical condition co-worker complaints, what do I do?
Answers: I own Interstitial Cystitis too. I know how you feel- i'm the same way on fare-up days. It's massively hard to explain to people and enjoy them actually be sympathetic and understanding, because a bladder condition really is a short time ago pushed aside as no REAL condition.
Explain to your boss again about the disease... tell him/her that it's totally painful if you don't use the restroom and you will, in turn, not be capable of fully function while you are doing your work. Show him/her pamphlets, websites... whatever it take! If your boss still gets annoyed, find another job. It may be sturdy, but you need to find a job where on earth you can feel comfortable and have recognition, supportive people around you.
I'm wondering about your frequency... enjoy you gotten any medication? Elmiron... Atarax... Elavil? Have you ever considered Interstim? With how frequently you go, you may be a good hopeful. And the good thing is insurance covers it!
Good luck near everything... and just remember, you're not alone in what you're experiencing. =).
make clear to your supervisor about this annoying jerk! besides you hold a medical condition and your supervisor understands so he can lend you a hand.
