been on yasmin for 5 months without ever missing a daytime. Lost a pill in my last pack. Doctor said to nick the next day pill that time and instead miss the last active pill contained by the pack then start the new pack on sit instead of my normal sunday start. He said it wouldnt effect the birth control. I have have unprotected sex all month and am nervous because i am have lower cramping for days...period should start a week from today...could i be pregnant?

Remember the pill is only 99% impressive but NO chances are you are not pregnant. Your doctor was correct...the means of access you took them will not effect the birth control
